Crafted with just a touch of new French oak, the lush mouthfeel is gracefully balanced with fresh acidity, allowing flavors of ripe pear, vanilla, and nutmeg to shine. Our Chardonnay is an ideal match for a variety of pairings including Brie cheese, roast chicken, and Quiche Lorraine.

Our 2017 Chardonnay is a two vineyard blend from premier Willamette Valley sites. Floral aromas of daffodil, jasmine and quince enhance ripe pineapple, honeydew and golden apple with accents of vanilla custard and coconut. The aroma carries onto the palate, transitioning to flavors of tangy lemon marmalade, baked apples and a hint of peach. A full bodied, lush and broad mouthfeel comes from barrel fermentation in 15% new oak and 10 months aging on the lees. Additionally important are the 55% of 2nd fill barrels that contribute an integrated barrel character, adding complexity and body while not overwhelming varietal character. The finish is medium long and lingering with just enough juicy acid to stay fresh and youthful.
