Tasting Notes
Aromas of ripe pear and papaya meld with sweet maple and fresh-baked
lemon cake in our first-ever vintage of Riesling from the Chehalem
Mountains AVA. Forward-acid upon entry slowly leads you to hints of
residual sugar that bring balance to this medium- to light-bodied Riesling.
On the palate, juicy flavors of kiwi, young grapefruit and Meyer lemon are
accented by tart peach skin and green papaya. The refreshing and
mouthwatering finish leaves you wanting another glass to pair with
everything from spicy papaya salad to fried oysters to lemon panna cotta.
